Relational Field Workshop
presented by Brook Olsen H.H.P. / S.E.P. and Peggy Reynolds-Olsen
A skill enhancement workshop for holistic professionals and touch therapist.
This is a 21/2 day workshop held at the all inclusive Pacha Mama's Grove Retreat Center atop Palomar Mountain. Come and explore the possibility of listening from the inside out. Working with clients instead of on them. We need to develop the skills of staying present andallowing the information to come to us organically. We are in the habit of thinking we already know what our clients need and thus we never really listen to them. In this course the nature of our human condition will be explored within small group fprmats. Peggy will be presenting basic forms of relational work where the focus will be on present awareness and inquiry into the nature of what arises in relationship. The nature of the "relational Field" will be explored. How information is communicated within a wide perceptual field will be the focu of the day. Interpersonal skills relating to psycho-emotional and historical information will be emphasised and the nature of the therapeutic interaction explored. Emphasis will be on "joint practice" the mutual nature of the client-therapist relationship. Forms of active supervision will also be explored in which observer therapist hold certain intentions of awareness as the therapist-client process unfolds. The Brahma Viharas, Equanimity, Compassion, Love and Joy will help generate and hold the enquiry.

Core Process Workshop
presented by Brook Olsen H.H.P. / S.E.P. and Peggy Reynolds-Olsen
Core Process is an expolration of how we are in our present experience, and how this expresses the past conditioning and conditions of our lives. The intention of this enquiry is the possibility of transforming our relationship to suffering and the facilitation of greater and more conscious choice in our daily life. In Core Process work, a depth awareness of what is happening in the present moment is used to explore our inner process. This awareness encompasses our energies, sensations, feelings, mental processes, and their expressions in the body. The aim is not to alter our experience, but to sense how we relate to it, so that it becomes possible to move with greater creativity and flexibilty in our lives. Core Process work is based on the understanding that within the conscious mind there is a deeper wisdom that moves naturally towards healing. Integration and healing come from insight into the ways in which we hold onto our suffering, and from a deeper connection with the openness, compassion, and wisdom at the heart of our human condition. You may feel blocked or weighed down by past conditioning or trauma(s), which restrict your life at the moment. Core Process therapeutic work can help you free yourself from what holds you back. This work can help develop practical skills for self-listening which will be invaluable to you long after the therapy may have stopped.
This is a 2 1/2 day all inclusive workshop which will be held atop Palomar Mountain at Pacha Mama's Grove Retreat Center. The group is limited to 7 participants. Brook and Peggy will hold space for each participant to process individually with the support of the group.

NOTE: This lodge is being held as a reminder for us all to hold gratitude in our hearts for all the riches we do have in this moment-our good health, family, friends, jobs, food and shelter-all the things that help us feel secure. Kevin would also like to request a "give away" for this ceremony-a "blanket ceremony". In this ceremony, everyone brings something that has personal or spiritual meaning, that has given them joy or plentitude. Please wrap this object in red cloth, and when you arrive, you will place it on the blanket provided for the ceremony. (No talking or explaining the "gift" or give-away amongst each other). After this ceremony, everyone will circle around the blanket with their backs turned from the objects, and each will get a turn to go to the item or place they are called to. No one will open their gift until everyone has received a red bundle. We will open our gifts together as a reminder that we not only have abundance but that we have each other, and that we always have something more to give one another, no matter how big or small.
In preparation for the ceremony, we would also request that you make a tobacco bundle ( a handful of tobacco in red cloth) and pray with it for four days prior to the lodge. In this way, you will have your gratitude and your intentions already present and "circulating" before ceremony.
Please be on the land around noon in preparation of the lodge.
It is a Native tradition to bring a dish to share for our " after the lodge" meal.
For those who chose to stay there is an $85 fee which includes a bed in our bunkhouse, great coffee/tea and a scrumptious breakfast on the deck over looking Pauma Valley.

Writers Workshop
Courage In Creative Writing:Exploring the First Person Narrative
presented by Kimberly Dark
Writing in the first person (using"I") can feel very vulberable and self-revealing. This type of writing is sometimes called autobiography, memoir or autoethnography. In this workshop, we will explore the power of first person story-knowing when to stop! Kimberly will also help participants understand how to use personal stories to write about broader themes. As she often says "Every story is about me, but I am not the subject." Participants will leave the workshop with greater courage and skill at storytelling in the first person and will have started a few different stories for completion at home. 2nd Annual Women's Retreat
Participate;
We can always use help around the land from picking up fallen branches and twigs to sweeping leaves off the deck to watering or even feeding the chickens, now there is something most of us don't do everyday.
Become a sponsor, donate , volunteer or help us with fund raising.
Particle things like;
- hammocks
- composting toilets
- snake bit kit
- battery powered drill
- used 4x4 truck
- yurts
- water heater
- airline mileage
- money
We thank you in advance for your love and support.
We are now up, running ( after the chickens ) and open for whatever brings you to Pacha Mama's. We started with this wild idea, let's open a retreat center and have been blessed beyond our wildest dreams by family and friends (old and new) who have joined us on this beautiful journey of creating and developing Pacha Mama's Grove. So many dreams and visions have already come to fruition. We have two new chickens, Blackie and CoCo Channel. The main house, guest house and bunk house are now completely furnished thanks to donations from so many wonderful people. This means if you are wanting to come up and stay we have space available, you can rent one or take the whole ranch. The camp ground is always ready, it comes with a mountian spring feed shower and is set up for a game of horse shoes or an easy swing in the chair, it just doesn't get any better then that, who knew?
We now have our own sweat lodge which will be used for the first time on Sept 22/23, space is limited so if you are interested please let us know. We are now starting to book events so be sure to check the events calendar to see what you "have" to do or talk to us about creating one.
We greatly appreciate all the everyone has, is and will be contributing to Pacha Mama's Grove. This place is for all of us to grow, learn, heal and expand.
May the peace of the Goddess/God be ever in your heart, Many Blessings
